MYNDA SERVICE COMPANY – TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

1. GENERAL UNDERSTANDING

Mynda Service Company is a trusted platform connecting domestic workers (Mynda’s), agents, employers, and laboratories. We do not employ domestic workers directly. All Mynda’s on our platform are independent service providers vetted and made available to clients.

Employers are responsible for choosing and engaging workers, while Mynda facilitates discovery, verification, and secure connections between parties.

2. REGISTRATION & PROCESS

All users must register via www.mynda.co selecting their appropriate role: Mynda, Employer, Agent, or Laboratory.

For Employers:

• Register your account and complete your KYC verification (ID + utility bill).

• Create job requests with clear job descriptions and expectations.

• Conduct video interviews and confirm hires through the platform.

For Mynda’s (Domestic Workers):

• Register and upload ID, photo, utility bill, and guarantor details.

• Complete KYC to become verified.

• Apply for jobs, attend interviews, and get placed.

For Agents:

• Create account and register Mynda’s under your agency.

• Complete KYC for your agency and the workers you onboard.

• Apply for jobs on behalf of verified Mynda’s.

For Laboratories:

• Register as a medical/lab partner.

• Upload available health screenings (e.g., nanny/maid tests).

• Provide verified reports for employers or Mynda’s using the platform.

3. SERVICE FEES AND COMMISSIONS

Employers are required to buy subscription plans to review Mynda’s profile and a an agency fee on successful placement.

Premium job promotion services may be purchased for higher visibility. Mynda’s and use the platform for free and choose to subscribe for more visibility to employers

Agents earn commissions based on successful placement of a Mynda via their account. All payments must be made through the platform or approved bank channels. Cash transactions are not supported.

4. PLACEMENT & REPLACEMENT POLICY

Replacements are provided within 7 days of a verified Mynda leaving a job, subject to a valid reason (e.g., no-show, breach of conduct).

No replacements are guaranteed for issues outside of our policy scope such as poor working conditions, underpayment, or unrealistic demands.

All replacements are tied to the original job description submitted. Changing a Mynda’s role or reassigning them without notifying Mynda is a breach of this agreement.

5. SECURITY, BACKGROUND CHECKS & POLICE REGISTRATION

Mynda’s are KYC-verified.

While Mynda performs internal checks, employers are encouraged to conduct additional verifications or request police verification.

Employers are responsible for household and Mynda safety after placement. Mynda can assist with additional background checks upon request.

6. MEDICAL TESTING

Employers may request health checks from verified labs partnered with Mynda. Tests are conducted after job confirmation and at the employer's expense. Results are sent directly to the employer.

7. WARRANTY & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Mynda does not manage daily work supervision or resolve every employment conflict. Employers should treat Mynda’s fairly, offering agreed compensation and rest days. In case of disputes, Mynda will attempt mediation. Legal resolution is encouraged if mediation fails.

Mynda will provide relevant data for police/legal investigations if needed.

8. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Subscriptions fees are non-refundable.

Subscriptions fees are non-refundable. Refunds for medical tests are only offered if the Mynda fails to report for testing. Service fees are non-refundable after placement unless written agreement specifies otherwise.

9. CODE OF CONDUCT

Employers must not overwork, underpay, or mistreat Mynda’s.

Mynda’s must fulfill their duties, follow household rules, and give notice before resigning. Bypassing the platform for private arrangements after introduction is prohibited and may result in penalties.

10. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Users agree not to:

• Use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes

• Impersonate others or misrepresent information

• Disrupt or interfere with system operations

• Post offensive or defamatory content

Violations may lead to suspension or legal action.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All platform content, logos, and materials are owned by Mynda Digital Limited or its licensors.

Unauthorized use is prohibited.

12. DATA PRIVACY

Mynda processes personal data per its Privacy Policy.

By using the platform, you agree to our data collection and usage practices.

13. MODIFICATIONS

Mynda may update these Terms periodically.

Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the updated terms.

14. TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend access for violating these terms or engaging in harmful conduct.

Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the updated terms.

15. JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by Nigerian law.

All legal claims shall be under the jurisdiction of Lagos State.

16. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By registering, hiring, or applying through Mynda, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, regardless of whether a written signature exists.
